The Houston Bowl was played annually in Houston, Texas from 2000-2005. The game was originally known as the galleryfurniture.com Bowl in 2000 and 2001. In 2002, the Houston Bowl was born and later named the EV1.net Houston Bowl for the remainder of the game's existence. The game was played in two locations, Houston's Astrodome housed the galleryfurniture.com Bowl. In 2002, the game moved to Reliant Stadium. However, after 2005, the bowl failed to return EV1.net as a sponsor and was ended.
